A prophetic message 

During a service the visiting pastor preached for us. Afterward he said that God had given him a message to some of the present pastors. I was one of them. The message to me was, that I would get involved in online training of pastors and church leaders on a global level. The visiting pastor did not know me in advance, and he knew nothing about what I was involved in at that time. But he had the message written down in advance. I manage to capture a picture of the message. It is precious picture to me. 

The prophetic message ignited a process of major changes in my life.  

The changes have brought me from serving parttime as pastor in a village church and parttime as business manager of a Danish mission organisation to where I am now, proudly, and gratefully serving as CEO for the newly established new organisation DECIBEL based in Oxford, UK. 

Rooted in Tylstrup 

I remain living in Tylstrup, a very small village in the Northern part of Denmark, where I and my family have lived for the past 24 years. This is where we belong, where we are content.  

Sofia has honoured me as her husband since 1987, and I intend to keep it that way for a while, well, until death takes us apart. Together we have three sons and four grandchildren. 

I enjoy outdoor life a lot. Both my wife and I are licensed hunters, we train gun dogs (three Labrador Retrievers, currently), and I am involved in Retriever training as an instructor.  

Long distance hiking is also a passion, last summer I hiked east to west across Sweden and Norway on the northern most pilgrim path called St. Olavsleden, stretching 600 km. from the Baltic Sea to the Atlantic Ocean. I dream about hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, running from Mexico to Canada. I like to dream big. 

I have many years ago committed myself to serve in the Kingdom of God, and I believe strongly that I together with the entire team in DECIBEL will be able to raise up more:
