DECIBEL, a charity dedicated to the exponential growth of the Kingdom of God, celebrates its first anniversary by reflecting on a year of significant achievements and facing new challenges ahead. The charity, which has been instrumental in combining Decibel Training, TheWell, and Word Online into a singular, impactful ministry tool, acknowledges the pivotal financial support from The Relay Trust during its inaugural year. 

 However, shortly after commemorating this milestone, DECIBEL was informed of The Relay Trust’s decision to revise its funding strategy. Moving forward, The Relay Trust will solely support the Word Online ministry, resulting in the discontinuation of funding for Decibel Training and TheWell. 

The sudden change has necessitated the difficult decision to halt all activities related to TheWell and DECIBEL Training. Over the past eight weeks, DECIBEL has taken steps to manage this transition, including the redundancy of employees and contractors, the termination of the office lease, and exploring new avenues to sustain the vision and work of the affected ministries.   

Despite these setbacks, DECIBEL remains steadfast in its mission. Inspirations received by the team have reaffirmed their faith, providing peace and a renewed sense of direction during this period of uncertainty. The charity draws comfort from Ephesians 2:10, which serves as a reminder of their purpose and calling. 

Decibel is committed to transparency and will share updates regarding future plans and the continuation of its mission as soon as they become available.
